We have developed a comprehensive algorithm in our system that analyzes activity within the WiFi Map community and calculates User’s reputation and WiFi health score.
The main indicators that affect the WiFi health score are Last connection time, Last signal time and Speed test results.
Last connection time shows when was the last connection to the particular WiFi hotspot.
Last signal is the time when the particular WiFi hotspot was determined as «alive». Alive means that the WiFi is still discoverable by mobile devices, but it doesn't mean that somebody connected to it.
Speed Test results show the quality of the Internet connection of the WiFi hotspot.
